Shy Comfort

Through the course of a photo shoot, I try to stay behind the viewfinder as much as possible.  At a moment of shyness, Holly reaches for the comfort of mom.  A simple touch of mom's garment did the trick.

Fall in Seattle

With trees every where you turn in Seattle, it makes for an amazing array of colors.  So the park was a clear location choice for the photo shoot with Daren, Barb, and their daughter Holly.

We took our time strolling through the park, admiring nature, and stopping along the way to capture some "spurts of reality".

Kids At Heart

I hope that you laughed when you saw this, because it still tickles me.

Daren and Barb were looking for some "fall" photos.  We were actually done with the photo shoot, and walking back to the car.  The whole time, my eye is constantly scanning for something of interest.  All of a sudden, I see this lonely tree, with tons of leaves on the ground.  I was reluctant to suggest, as I thought there is no way adults are going to sit in a pile of leaves.  But it would make too great of a background.  Not only did they sit in the leaves, but my simple suggestion to toss up a few leaves, quickly turned to a flurry of leafy activity.

My photography philosophy is " Brilliance In Simplicity ! ".  I wanted to get back to basic and simple.  While many layers of complexity can create amazing photos, I strive to remove those layers and recognize the natural beauty beneath.

I am always inspired by the delight and smiles that are present when people engage with my images.
